After Hours Emergency Services: After hours services are available but up to the doctor-on-call to decide what level of response is necessary, if any. Please be patient as our doctors do work long hours during the week. If your call is not returned within 1 hour of calling, we recommend attending Eastern Carolina Veterinary Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.

We are proud and excited to partner with Eastern Carolina Veterinary Medical Center. ECMVC offers everything from 24 hour ER and critical care services, to specialty surgical services, internal medicine, theriogenology, and soon-to-come neurology and oncology. For anything that we feel may be better handled by a specialist, we will set up a transfer and facilitate a seamless process.  We have a very close relationship with the ER doctors as well as the hospital's chief-of-staff, Dr. Brett Gulledge, DVM, BS, DACVS-SA and the entire specialty team. We are thankful for their friendship and we feel that they not only offer the best care, but more importantly show compassion and treat our doctors, clients and patients with respect. They treat you how we treat you: like a friend! 

CHRISTMAS HOURS:

This year, our hospital will be closed 12/24/25-12/26/25 and will be re-open 12/27/25. We will also be closed 12/31-1/1/26 and reopen 1/2/26. We can't thank you all enough for choosing us to be your loved one's care takers. We hope all of our clients have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
